This 73-kilometre route offers you an alternative to the Portuguese Way, featuring three stages in which you will discover the O Salnés region. This route stands out for its historical and cultural landscapes and for impressive natural beauty spots.

At the end of the second stage, you will arrive in Vilanova de Arousa. In our municipal district, you will pass by large areas of vineyards on trellises and forests at the foot of the river before reaching the beaches of As Sinas and O Terrón. From here you will reach the urban centre of Vilanova, an ideal place to make a stop on your route and rest in one of the town’s hostels or accommodations establishments. From the Ferry Terminal Station, you can go up the Ulla River as far as river port of Pontecesures. From there, you will resume the itinerary of the Portuguese Way to Compostela.
